This is a stock replacement filter for all Eureka vacuums that use the HF-7 filters. Exact same product as came with the vacuum. I had experienced loss of suction in my vacuum and realized that my filter needed replacing. As soon as I replaced it the vacuum was working like new.
Make sure you follow the manufacturer's replacement schedule for best operation, and make sure that you are checking all filters on your vacuum. Mine has two filters in addition to a foam filter that goes over one of those filters. There is also a small yellow plastic filter cup at the top of the dist chamber that unsnaps and should be cleaned periodically to ensure proper suction is maintained. In short: follow the guidelines in the owner's manual and replace/clean the filters as per the schedule and your vacuum will preform better!
I was shipped the correct filter, since there are currently 4 good reviews and only one reviewer who has experienced problems with them I'd assume they are almost always reliable. Otherwise you'd see more negatives!
