Bissell No 7 Filter Jun 12, 2009
By Larry My upright vac was beginning to blow some foul odors. When I removed the old filter it was dirty and brown. Time to replace the post-motor HEPA filter.
The new Filter arrived in good condition and was a genuine Bissell. The filter is sturdy and should last a while.
Before replacing the HEPA filter, I cleaned the air outlet with a sanitizing wipe. A quick change and the vac is as good as new.
Be sure to clean the other two "sponge type" filters (if your vac has them) for peak performance.

Works great! Dec 02, 2010

I hadn't realized that I needed to change this filter frequently. I was cleaning the other filters and emptying and washing the canister that collected the main dust and debris. The vacuum was still sucking up a lot of stuff, but the HEPA filtration didn't seem to be working. I ordered this product, which came within a few days, and easily replaced it (make sure you have it facing in the correct direction). Instant success! I will replace it more often now, but probably not at the recommended 6 month intervals because my vacuum is not used as much as most and the house is small.

Receive a "Crucial" brand filter that does not fit. Oct 30, 2010

Apparently, from the reviews and images posted for this product, not everyone is receiving the same product. I received two "Crucial Vacuum" branded filters when I ordered this item (Bissell HEPA Media Filter, 32076).
As noted in the review of the Crucial filters, Bissell Style 7, Style 9 HEPA Media Filter; Compare to Bissell Part#32076, these filters are notably short (~1.8mm). Numerically, this may seem like a small difference in tolerances, but it allows a significant amount of air leakage through these gaps.

Bissell Hepa filters Aug 17, 2008
By James B. Card Filters came as advertised. They work well and fit perfectly in our Bissell bagless vacuum cleaner.

By Weekender The filter received was not a genuine Bissell type 7 filter. It was a generic made by Crucial Vacuum. There is a small 1/8 inch gap on the top. This defeats the purpose of a HEPA filter as most of the air bypasses the filter.
